AI Clarity Session Terms

Version 2026-06-28

Here is exactly what you can expect from me, in plain language. I would rather you know the deal up front than be surprised later.

These terms are between Rendered HQ LLC ("Rendered," "I," "me") and you, the person or company purchasing the Session ("you"), and they cover the $497 AI Clarity Session. They replace any earlier guarantee, including the prior one-sentence version.

Your email is the address you gave me when you booked. Notices to that address from me, and from that address to me, count for both of us.

1. What you get

  • A 90-minute focused screenshare session with me, Mark Heinz, on the one real AI question you bring. No camera is required of you. We meet at a time we schedule together.
  • We lock the question. At the end of the session, you and I settle on the exact one-to-two-sentence question the Brief will answer, and I write it as Part 1 of your Brief in plain words. If we run out of time or do not land on the exact wording together, I will write the locked question myself based on our session and put it at the top of the Brief. If I have stated it wrong, that is exactly what the 7-day window and the free rework are for: tell me within 7 days and I will correct the question and answer it again, free, one time. The locked question, as I wrote it or as you corrected it, is the question the guarantee is measured against.
  • A written Clarity Brief, sent to your email within one business day of the close of the session. One page, four parts:
    1. The question we locked in, in plain words.
    2. My honest read, the straight answer, including where it makes the honest "AI won't help you here" call and why.
    3. A recommended next step, what I would do next if I were in your seat.
    4. What I would watch out for, the risks, costs, or wrong turns I would want you to see.
  • That four-part Brief is the whole of what I send you, and I pour the session into making it count.
  • The Brief is delivered when I send it to the email address you gave me, shown by the timestamp on my sent message. If you do not see it, check your spam folder and tell me, and I will resend it right away. I keep a copy of your Brief for 30 days; after that, please hold onto your own copy.
  • Reschedule and no-shows. Life happens. Reschedule any time at least 24 hours ahead and we will find a new time at no charge, up to two times. If you go quiet and we never connect, and you had not given me that 24-hour heads-up, I will not be able to refund that session, because I had already set the time aside and turned away other work to be ready for you. A quick message is all it ever takes to keep things easy. If I ever have to reschedule on you, you keep every right under these terms and we simply find a new time, or you may take a full refund before the session.

2. What this is, and what it is not

  • It is honest analysis and opinion, my best judgment on your question. It is not a guarantee of any business outcome and not a promise that AI will solve your problem. An honest "AI won't help you here, and here is why" is a complete and valuable answer, not a failure to deliver.
  • It is not legal, financial, tax, accounting, investment, or other licensed professional advice. I am not a licensed attorney, financial advisor, or tax preparer, and nothing in the Session or the Brief should be relied on as such. For decisions that need a licensed professional, please talk to one.
  • It does not include implementation, building, ongoing support, or any follow-on work. Those are separate engagements, scoped and quoted in writing.

3. The guarantee, and how to use it

  • The promise. I will show up for the full 90 minutes, lock the question with you, give you my honest, considered judgment, and deliver the four-part Brief within one business day.
  • Make it right first. If the Brief misses the question we locked in, or a part is missing, tell me in writing within 7 days of when I send it. I will rework it once, free, within 2 business days. If I told you up front that the Brief would be a day late and it arrived when I said it would, that is not a miss.
  • Full refund backstop. If after that one rework the Brief still does not answer the question we locked in, I will refund the full $497. One rework, then a full refund. No store credit, no partial. Refunds go back through Stripe to your original payment method, or by another reasonable method if that card is no longer available.
  • The guarantee is measured against the question we locked in, as written. Bringing a new or expanded question after the Brief is a new Session, not a miss on this one.
  • What the guarantee does not turn on. It does not turn on whether you liked the answer or whether it was the one you hoped for. A thoughtful, honest "here is the straight answer, and here is why AI is not the move" is the product working exactly as promised.
  • To invoke it, reply to your confirmation email or write me at mark.heinz@renderedhq.com and say plainly: "I am using the Clarity Brief guarantee." All I ask is that you bring one real question and stay with me for the session. This guarantee, including the free rework and the refund, is your remedy if the Brief misses. A refund I have already paid you under this guarantee is full satisfaction.
  • A note on chargebacks. If anything feels off, come to me first. This guarantee is a faster path to your money than a card dispute, and I read every one of these myself. If you do file a card chargeback, I will simply share these terms, your agreement to them, and proof that the Brief was sent on time, and let the record speak. But it should never come to that, and I would much rather just make it right.

4. Acceptance window

You have 7 days from when I send your Brief (or reworked Brief) to tell me in writing that I did not deliver what Section 1 describes. If 7 days go by and I have not heard any concern from you, I will take it that you are happy with the Brief and we will call the Session complete. If you need a little more time and tell me so, I am reasonable about it. "In writing" means an email to mark.heinz@renderedhq.com.

5. Keeping this fair-sized

This is a $497 session, so let us keep what is at stake proportional to that.

  • If something ever went wrong on my end, the most I would owe you back is the $497 you paid. That is the ceiling, under any kind of claim.
  • I am not on the hook for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages, including lost profits or the results of a business decision you made after reading the Brief. The Brief is one informed input for your call, never a guarantee of how things turn out.
  • The decisions stay yours. I give you my honest best read; you weigh it with everything else you know.
  • Nothing in this section limits liability for fraud or willful misconduct, or any liability that cannot be limited under Illinois law.

6. Governing law and disputes

  • Governing law: the State of Illinois, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules.
  • If we ever disagree: first we talk in good faith to work it out directly. If that does not resolve it, the exclusive venue is the Small Claims Court of Madison County, Illinois. Either of us may still seek emergency or equitable relief in a court in Madison County, Illinois at any time.

7. The whole agreement

These Session Terms are the entire agreement between us for the Session and replace any earlier statement, including the prior one-sentence guarantee. If any part of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest still applies. Any change has to be in writing and agreed by both of us.
